Young and the Restless Spoilers: Lily’s Trial Begins

Young and the Restless fans know that Billy is a mess. He’s trying to move on in his life with Phyllis, whom he has been dating for the better part of more than a year now. He’s been with her for a while, but he’s recently been tempted by her own daughter. Summer, to be fair, is going out of her own way to make sure that he is completely miserable by spending as much time as she can seducing him. She’s not being a very good girl, and she’s not making anyone happy with her choices. She’s upset, they’re all upset, and everything is happening for a reason right now. But we can’t help but see that things will not turn around as long as he is attracted to her daughter, and as long as she knows this. Summer is going to continue to use that.

Kyle and Ash teamed up last week to get a point across to Billy, so that’s one more thing he has to worry about. They haven’t made it clear to him what they are doing, of course, but Kyle is probably going to do just that by mistake. He will take things into his own hands again, and that’s not good news at all. They have to get their lives in order, too, or else they are going to suffer. If they can’t remain a team — and Ash will be furious when she realizes that he went behind her back to do what he wanted — things won’t work. This entire plan will fall apart around them, and it might just put Billy right back on top while it takes them down a notch or two further than they want to go. They have to get back on the same team. But can they?

We agree. They always end up back together no matter how badly they hurt one another. They just need their time apart for a while to get their lives in order and to make things work out for all of them. It’s one of those things that doesn’t always seem to make sense, but it does work out for someone in some capacity more often than it does not.

What’s Next on the Young and the Restless

Fans are very excited on this long holiday weekend, and we cannot blame them. While we all hope that you are off doing something amazing and fun and celebrating this last weekend of summer before life kicks back into overdrive and you no longer have a moment of free time until January, we do have to say that the show is on the air today. There was a rumor it would not be on today, but that rumor has been laid to rest and everyone is happy to say that it’s back on and everyone is going to see the way that the world is going. We will start with Lily. Today is the first day of her trial. She could spend the rest of her life behind bars if she is found guilty, but that is nothing compared to what she feels on the inside.

She’s already convinced herself that she feels guilty enough to have done this, and she’s punishing herself more than a judge or jury could ever do. She will be emotional, horrified, and upset by so much, and there is very little that will change that or the way she feels right now. Additionally, we will see that Traci Abbott is making her comeback and we are all excited about that one. She’s amazing, and she always managed to bring so much to the show. We cannot wait to see her come back, and we cannot wait to see this all unfold. There is a lot we can wait on, but this is not one of those things.
