Kourtney and Kim Take New York was a double header tonight, airing episodes 6 and 7 back to back. First up was ‘Cats Away Mice Will Play.’The sisters venture to Mystic, Connecticut for some sisterly bonding while Scott and Kris are up to no good on a jaunt to Toronto.
The paparazzi in New York are getting on Kourtney’s nerves, taking photos of her and Kim while they work out at the gym through the windows. She just wants to be free of them for a while. Kim suggests a trip to Mystic to get away from the pressures in the city and in the penthouse. Kim calls it a sister weekend, but Scott is insulted that Kourtney doesn’t even bother to invite him. Kris mentions that he has been asked to make an appearance at a club in Toronto, where he used to play ball. He just forgets to mention that he was going, and when.
Once the sisters set off, Kris goads Scott into joining him in Toronto. Scott knows he should let Kourtney know first, but he’s ticked that she didn’t invite him to Mystic. While the sisters and baby Mason are enjoying the tourist attractions, the boys hit Toronto, and Scott hits the bottle. At the club, Scott is in full party boy mode, keeping the girls from Kris by chatting them up himself. Then Kim picks up her phone and sees a tweet that says Scott and Kris are in a club in Toronto. Kim gets worried at this news, remembering what happened when she went to L.A. and left them alone in the penthouse. Kourtney is annoyed but will remain calm until she has a chance to speak to Scott like an adult.
Scott gets drunker as the night wears on. He needs to use the restroom but winds up relieving himself in waste bucket, on camera. Finally, Kris gets a wild Scott out of the club. Scott pays the price with a wicked hangover the next morning. On their way back to New York, Kim is really disappointed in Kris, feeling that he broke her trust. Kris realizes he missed 12 texts from Kim and tries to call her, she doesn’t answer. Back at the penthouse, Kim confronts him: “Your wife has to find out you’re in a different country on Twitter.” He tells her it wasn’t a surprise because he did mention it. She is furious that he doesn’t think this is a big deal. She reminds him she’s his wife now and she has a right to know where he is. Even though he apologizes, Kim doesn’t get over it.
Next, Kourtney confronts Scott. He tells her he really doesn’t think she cares where he goes and what he does. But they laugh about it, recovering more quickly than Kim and Kris.
