10 Things You Didn’t Know about Kevin Grevioux

Looking at Kevin Grevioux a lot of people would think that he looks pretty imposing since he’s a big guy with a hard stare that seems as though he could break a person in two if he really wanted. But in truth he’s quite the nice guy who enjoys what he does and has been quite prolific in his career and his life at this time. The movies he’s been in haven’t always been the most noticeable but if a person has been paying attention throughout the years they’ll have noticed that Underworld was one of his biggest and most impressive performances as he showed up in a couple of the movies in a big way, even if he was killed off eventually. That was actually written in on purpose it would seem since his involvement was meant to be temporary for reasons that had to do with his involvement behind the camera as well and his own plans for the franchise.

Here are a few things about Kevin you might not have known.

10. He’s currently in his 50s.

Age doesn’t seem to have softened his looks that much, but the grey that can be seen in his hair and beard, when he lets them grow out, does give him a sort of wizened look that suggests both great intelligence and wisdom from a life that’s been lived on his own terms.

9. Kevin is a very educated man.

Some folks might look at Kevin and quickly assume that he’s a big man and is primarily used for thugs and big guys since he’s a decent actor and not much else, but in truth he did graduate from Howard University in Washington, DC and was at one time pursuing a master’s degree in genetic engineering. That’s a pretty big reason to think twice about judging people before getting to know them.

8. He’s been a writer as well.

Kevin hasn’t bothered with keeping his skill set confined to one direction since he’s been seen to write for comics and has been very influential in a few different stories throughout his career, as he is something of a comic book fan.

7. Kevin was the writer for Underworld as well as one of the actors.

This was something of a surprise since his presence in the movie was great and as Raze he was one of the toughest lycans in the movie, but to think that he helped write it was even greater since it brings to mind that he did manage to have a good deal of influence as to how the story went.

6. People used to wonder if his voice was as deep as it sounds on film.

If you’ve ever heard him talk on film then you know that he’s got a deep voice that almost makes your bones quiver since quite honestly it’s the kind of bass that could rattle glassware almost. But rest assured his voice wasn’t enhanced or modulated in any way for the movies.

5. He’s written for comic books throughout his career.

There are some that might look at this and be less than impressed but when you figure out how much goes into this popular form of pop culture you can easily see that it’s something that deserves a lot more regard than it gets at times.

4. Kevin is a big fan of the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings.

This isn’t too hard to figure out since he hails from Minnesota and as a proud Vikings fan he sticks by his team no matter that things haven’t been going that great for the Vikes these last few years. Still, try telling that to a Vikings fan and see how well it goes.

3. He’s been a Marvel comics fan for a long time.

He does admit to being a fan of Superman at first, but when he kept reading each issue he found that the man of steel’s power set was just a little too fantastical and didn’t offer a wide range of vulnerabilities as Marvel did. In many ways it’s easier to relate to Marvel heroes and villains, at least some of them, since they do have quite a few fallacies.

2. His net worth is around $6 million.

This isn’t surprising at all since looking over the things he’s done in his life and how he’s gone about spreading his talents around it’s very easy to assume that he’s made quite the name for himself, even if a lot of people don’t happen to know him by anything but appearance.

1. His social media presence isn’t all that big.

It would seem that he doesn’t keep a very high profile on social media, but then again it doesn’t seem that he would need to since fans of his movies and his work have no doubt come out in droves to see and talk to him.

He’s been pretty much under the radar for a lot of his career, but he’s been there all the same.
