When you hear the name Schwarzenegger, the first thing that pops into your mind is Arnold. And why not? Arnold has dominated the world of bodybuilding, took Hollywood by storm, and even tackled his political ambitions – becoming the Governor of California. However, when you hear that famous last name now, it is likely attached to the daughter of the famous actor turned politician. Katherine Schwarzenegger is the 28-year-old daughter of Arnold and she has been making headlines for a number of reasons. There are rumors circulated about everything from who she is dating to what she will be doing next. Katherine is just one of the latest young adults who fall under that new category of celebrity – being famous because you are related to someone famous. I am not knocking her, but we would not be covering this topic if she was not Arnold’s daughter, but then again, she is kind of cute.
To get you caught up on who Katherine Schwarzenegger is and what she is up to, here are 10 facts that you probably didn’t know about her.
1. She is Reportedly Dating Actor Chris Pratt
Before you get all excited and Giddy, it has not been officially confirmed yet. You know in the world of celebrity, you can see something with your own eyes, but if it is not confirmed by the person’s publicist then it is not really happening. It is the official protocol of famous people But be aware that they two have been spotted together on more than one occasion. * The two are now married.
2. She Is a Published Author
As it turns out, Katherine has focused her energy on something positive, writing books to empower women and inspire your kids. Her most popular title is Rock What You Got, which shares the idea of being confident with young women who have to exist in a world in which everyone feels the pressure of the successes and talents of the next person. The book focuses on encouraging young girls and young women to be happy with who they are and to make it work for them.
3. She Is An Ambassador for ASPCA
Katherine has a very strong love for animals. Not only does she have her own rescue dog named Maverick (which her children’s book happens to be about) but she is an ambassador for the ASPCA. She believes in providing love and support to animals and rescuing them from horrible situations that rob them of quality of life.
4. She Is An Alumni of USC
While it should not be a surprise that Katherine attended and graduated from the University of Southern California, it should be celebrated. How often have we seen children of famous parents attempt to rest on the laurels of their parent’s accomplishments, but Katherine seems intent on paving her own path.
5. Vlogger
I am not sure if this is worthy of the list, but I am adding it anyway. The reason I question adding it is that it appears that almost everyone is vlogging these days. She vlogs about almost anything that has to do with lifestyle. She seems to truly enjoy life and she also has a passion for sharing her joy with others.

6. She Is Addicted to Rainbow Sprinkles
It is amazing what you can become addicted to in life. Of course, you hear about people becoming addicted to alcohol and illicit drugs, but food addictions are real. However, the type of addiction that Katherine has does not appear to be threatening. It is weird that her addiction to rainbow sprinkles operates mostly without involving ice cream.
7. She Is Obsessed with Beyonce
Okay, who isn’t? I generally classify the population into two general categories – those who are members of the B-Hive and those who pretend not to like Beyonce but worship her in silence. By listening to Katherine refer to “B” as the Queen, it is obvious that she is a certified B-Hive member.
8. She Works An ET Correspondent
One way that you can improve your chance of being able to get the right spin on stories about you is to become a correspondent for one of the leading television and online news sources. Katherine is an actual correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. Way to work it, Katherine.

That is the other benefit of being a correspondent for ET, the ability to interview people that you find interesting. Michelle Obama is consistently at the top of the list of the most interesting and intriguing people in the world and Katherine had her front and center.
10. She Is Not Intimidated by the Huge Shadows Created by Her Parents
You would think that being the daughter of the terminator and one of the most famous fashion models in history would be a little overwhelming but Katherine takes it all in stride as she paves her own way in the world. She did not pursue acting or modeling as her path – she is content with writing her own story.
