Jimmy Fallon, Ed Sheeran and The Roots Sing “Shape of You”

Jimmy Fallon was back with The Tonight Show last night.  While he had his fun ripping on The Oscars and Donald Trump, perhaps the biggest highlight was Ed Sheeran performing with the host and his band, The Roots.   In what’s become a very popular segment on the show, Fallon will have musical guests come on and sing some of their best hits, only it’s with a twist.  Instead of singing on a stage with professional instruments, a band, and great sound, they’ll sit in a dressing room crowded together and perform the song using children’s instruments.

While it’s not quite car pool karaoke, the segment has been gaining steam in popularity.  Plus it’s always fun to see celebrities doing the kind of stuff you might see on Sesame Street.  I mean when you really think about it, how different is this skit than when celebrities sit on stoops and sing with Elmo?
