This is Jeff Goldblum Rating People’s Jeff Goldblum Tattoos

When you realize that people are wearing a tattoo of your countenance it’s nice to know that you’re being shown at your best. Believe it or not Jeff Goldblum is a subject of much interest when it comes to tattoos bearing his likeness. You have to think that with so many people that enjoy their ink that he’d pop up around the block a few times simply because he’s that great of an actor and people are, well, people just are the way they are. But his reactions to these tattoos are priceless when he sees them for the first time, as he insisted before he did this video.

As you might suspect a lot of them had to do with Jurassic Park and show him in a variety of ways stemming from the classic to the downright weird. Jeff doesn’t seem to mind though and despite being mystified by a few of them and almost appalled by at least one of them he still manages to express what can only be described as gratitude in a way that speaks of admiration for the artwork. A few of the tattoos are rendered so well that one can’t even imagine the cost that one might incur from getting them done.

A lot of these tattoos are also worn by women on their upper thigh or somewhere close it would seem, perhaps indicating that they happen to really love Goldblum’s work and want to send a message or give the ink special meaning. There are also a couple of tattoos that kind of miss the mark but are still special on their own  since they give Jeff a rather different look than he is used to and made him think a little bit about how to respond. That’s what’s so priceless about the clip though is that he really seems to have to think about what to say about each and every tattoo so as not to insult the artist or the person that has it permanently etched onto their skin.

Tattoo artists are notably proud and defensive of their work when it receives any type of criticism, largely because the work does take time and does take a great deal of patience. Plus, tattoo artists do have to possess a good deal of skill for their work to be worth the kind of money that some people are more than willing to put down on each piece. This means that they have to be able to draw, to conform the design to what people want, and to then ink it on their body without any obvious errors. It takes a lot of practice and dedication in order to get a tattoo right and to satisfy the customer in a way that might bring repeat business.

It’s unknown at this point if Jeff Goldblum has any tattoos on his person but his appreciation of the artwork is genuine enough that he seems flattered by the fact that someone would want his face on their body.
