As one of the original angels from Charlie’s Angels, Jaclyn Smith became so much more than a TV star throughout her career. But throughout her long stint in TV she also managed to do something with her life as she became a well-known name in the fashion industry, creating her own personal empire. She’s had her hand in everything from clothing to skin care to several other ventures that she’s enjoyed revealing to the public as millions upon millions of women have eagerly sought out her merchandise. It’s not much of a step really from Charlie’s Angels to having her own fashion lines, as she was always one of the most well-dressed and stunning women on TV.
In her 70’s at this time, Jaclyn is still an amazing looking woman that has aged beautifully and still possesses a keen eye for fashion that has been well-honed over the three decades plus that she’s been a part of the industry. The fact that she’s been in such an industry for so long says a lot about the dedication it takes and the knowledge she’s gained throughout the years pertaining to the different changes and trends that have come and gone. When you think about the fact that she started out in fashion back in the 80’s you can understand the idea that she’s been able to see a lot of things come and go. Throughout everything she’s managed to stay pretty much on top of it all and come out a very big success. That’s a big win for anyone that’s been around so long and on top of that she’s even found ways to make things better. Her products are made with vegan leather, which might sound like a contradictory term despite being very real.
Vegan leather is made from a few different materials that are all animal-friendly and feel just like the real thing. Throughout the years however Jaclyn has done her best to make sure that her products are made with as few animal byproducts, and if possible with none. This is a big mark in her favor no doubt and another reason why her lines are no doubt still so popular since a lot of people are into activism these days and standing against animal cruelty is a big issue at the moment among many other things. Following the will of the people is at times a sure way to get products to sell, and despite her very real and altruistic feeling towards the reason behind going to vegan leather she is after all a businesswoman and is bound to do whatever is going to benefit her business while at the same time holding true to the ideals she’s set forth.
Back in the day it was easy to see Jaclyn and her costars as living Barbie dolls from the way they dressed and acted at times but each one of them has proven that they were so much more. In Jaclyn’s case she is a very strong-willed businesswoman and has shown that she has an enormous amount of staying power when it comes the fashion industry.
