iZombie Sneak Peek: Liv Channels Her Inner Stripper, Tries to Take Down Boss With Peyton

iZombie

Typically on iZombie, Liv eats the brains of murder victims in order to help Clive solve a case, but things will be a little different this week. In the all-new hour, titled “Pour Some Sugar, Zombie,” Liv and Clive figure out who the killer in their case is more quickly than usual, without Liv having to eat any bit of brains at all. However, when Peyton believes that the victim has information that could help her take down crime lord Stacey Boss, Liv must eat the brain of a stripper, and her personality changes look pretty hilarious.

In the video below, Liv channels her inner stripper as she and Peyton head to the local strip club to search for more answers about Boss and his shady dealings. While there, Liv seems to really enjoy being an exotic dancer, smirking when a guy calls her “white and tight” and even giving Peyton a lap dance. But when the two of them run into the Seattle’s weatherman, Johnny Frost, who Liv had more than a few encounters with during Season 1, she breaks out of her stripper mindset and refocuses on the investigation.

Meanwhile, as Liv and Peyton try to take down Boss, his former competitor, Blaine, begins to experience side effects after taking Ravi’s untested cure. So what exactly are these side effects that Blaine is experiencing? It’s not made clear in the sneak peek below, but the official description for the episode says that “Blaine isn’t quite himself lately,” which certainly can’t be good news for Seattle’s largest brain supplier.

iZombie airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW. Check out the sneak peek of “Pour Some Sugar, Zombie” below:

PEYTON IS MOVING BACK IN WITH LIV — Liv (Rose McIver) consumes the brain of a recently murdered stripper and uncovers some extremely useful information. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) isn’t quite himself lately, and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) makes a startling discovery. Lastly, Major (Robert Buckley) and Ravi are helping Peyton (guest star Aly Michalka) move back in with Liv when she receives a surprising phone call. Malcolm Goodwin also stars. Mairzee Almas directed the episode written by Diane Ruggerio-Wright.
