On Friday, October 30, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance on night one of her husband Jay-Z’s back-to-back shows at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The concert was part of the Jay-Z 30 Tour, celebrating three decades of the Grammy-winning artist’s career.
Beyoncé appeared in a bright and colorful ensemble with her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, as well as her mother, Tina Knowles, and daughter, Blue Ivy.
Her stylist, Ty Hunter, shared photos of the full look on social media, which quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons.
“Someone went way too far with editing these photos—she’s completely unrecognizable,” one user said.
Beyoncé’s new photos faced backlash for her “weird” outfit and “heavy editing”

Beyoncé’s tropical-inspired outfit came from the Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2027 ready-to-wear collection.
The top featured pink-and-white floral prints with dashes of bright green as stems, and the plunging neckline and flowy sleeves had tattered fringes. The seaweed-like green skirt came with sparkling tinsel along its length.

She paired the attire with a diamond necklace from the Messika High Jewelry 2026 collection, oversized sunglasses, and pointed leopard-print pumps. She had her hair out in a styled blow-dry.
The photos sparked an online debate, with many fans blasting the look and even more calling out the “Photoshopped” pictures.
“I’ve always loved her but never loved her outfits,” one person said. Another wrote, “Beautiful face and hair, but this outfit is a f**king mess”

“I can’t believe she overly edits like this,” a third said. A fourth commented, “She’s still beautiful and youthful, but the editing is Madonna-level now.”
“My question is, why do they keep editing her neck to look like this unnatural, thin tube? What’s the point of that? And why does she allow them to do that? It’s so bizarre,” a fifth disappointed fan said.
Plastic surgery and weight-loss criticisms also plagued the Halo singer

Some netizens also commented on the Single Ladies singer’s face and body, speculating if she has undergone plastic surgery.
“When did Beyoncé get a blepharoplasty?? Her eyelid space was there this high. She looks like Jesy from Little Mix,” one user said.
Another wrote, “For the first time ever since I started following Beyoncé, I just noticed something different about her face.”
“Her nose looks different,” a third chimed in.
Many also complained that Beyoncé looked “too thin” and suspected that she was on semaglutide weight-loss injections.

“She let the Zempy set in,” one said. Another wrote, “Oh my God, Bey, it’s time to stop with the apple diet.”
“Ariana Grande type skinny,” a person jibed. One more said, “She must be fasting.”
Plastic surgery experts have previously weighed in on potential procedures Beyoncé may have done
Like most other celebrities, Beyoncé has long faced rumors about plastic surgery, especially a nose job. Although she has never publicly confirmed it, many experts have weighed in over the years.
In 2023, Dr. Gary Motykie, a plastic surgeon from Beverly Hills, California, said on his YouTube channel that she likely did undergo a rhinoplasty, as her nose tip looked “much more bulbous” at a younger age.

“You can see the tip is more contoured, slightly more nostril show, and overall the nose just appears slightly more refined and thinner,” he said, adding that she may have also taken facial fillers and Botox.
In 2025, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn mirrored the analysis, saying that the rhinoplasty may have happened between 2000 and 2007. He added that she may have had a second nose job before 2019.

Some fans argue that sometime in the last couple of years, she also got an upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), the same allegation Jennifer Lawrence recently faced after her October The Cut feature.
“I didn’t realize she had so much done to her face! She doesn’t look 41, but she also no longer looks like Beyoncé,” one user commented at the time.
Rumors regarding liposuction, breast enhancements, or gluteal work have circulated for years, though none of these claims are verified.
“Bey been using Photoshop lately,” one user said
