I Make A Living From Painting On Feathers And Shells In A Beautiful Seaside Town

They call me the feather lady.

When I started painting feathers in 2013 I never knew it would become so popular. Now, I am known for it and people all over the world buy my feathers.

I collect feathers from my walks and people send me feathers they find and from their birds.

We moved back to my home town in 2015 next to the beach. It was inevitable that I would try to paint on something new.

Mussel shells have a beautiful smooth surface and give depth to the miniature scenes that I paint in them.

I love the challenge of painting on feathers and shells.
