Could a Hydraulic Press Crush Wolverine’s Adamantium Claws?

Since I’m guessing that most of you were up late last night thinking about Wolverine’s Adamantium claws, I figured I’d have to go out there and find something that would put all of your concerns to bed.  I mean, seriously.  How tough is this Adamantium stuff anyway?  Well, it’s a good thing you asked that question because the guys at Youtube Channel “Hydraulic Press” are here to answer it.  For those of you who aren’t familiar, the Hydraulic Press Channel is designed for people to not watch to see if the press can crush a watermelon or cameras or a toilet, but how it will crush these things.  But what would happen if you put the Wolverine’s claws in there?

In the video, the narrator managed to get his hands on a small ball of adamantium, but when he tries to crush it, things don’t go that smoothly. After realizing his current settings aren’t strong enough, he cranks up the power, only to embed the ball into the block of steel it was resting on.

What’s actually smart about this video is that it’s technically an ad for Logan.  Pretty smart piece of viral marketing if you ask me.   While hydraulic presses rule with regard to crushing things in the real world, against a fake, made up material, they don’t stand a chance.
