It doesn’t really make me cringe but in preeschool, the teachers asked us what we wanted to be so I said I want to be quiet. I don’t know why I said that…

One time I was at a track meet and so, this dude kept bothering me and he wanted ny phone number so he entered his into my phone. I was like I’m not gonna text him, but he texted himself from ny phone, so I felt obligated to text him but he kept sending text like would you rather date me or jump off a cliff. I blocked and wrote a little not so nice message that went a little like….Please don’t talk to me anymore your a creep. So i regret sending that message cuz I really like track and I don’t want to go incase I run into him and he brings it up.

So one time, my friend wanted to make a photoshoot with me so I could use the photos for social media at the time. So I put my best attire on (which was an awful white furry vest) and she painted my face orange (that was the jam back then). We took some great pics. I wish present me could slap the old me in that orange face. These were mad 2000s so don’t judge.

A cousin of mine used to take me along when she would meet up with boys she was interested in. She was in her late teens and 8 years older than me. Once a guy had rented a boat to take us out on the water. When we got to a secluded spot, he asked me if I liked singing. I was very into Olivia Newton John at that time and knew her latest album by heart. Then he said I should sing something to the ducks that were swimming a little further ahead because they loved it. Being a little shy, I only started singing after they both pleaded for a while. After every song he would encourage me to sing another as I had such a nice voice. I sung for hours never realizing they were making out behind my back the entire time. Found that out much later but still cringe to this day when I think about it.
