I thought that when you died, your body would stop working, but your senses would work fine. Like, you could hear or see, or whatever. So I thought that when I’d die, I would like to be put in front of a TV. Strange metaphor, when you come to think of it.

That gnomes lived in wind turbines. If the rotor blades spinned the gnome was home, if they stood still he was gone somewhere.

For years I slept with both my hands pressed together under my cheek because I’ve seen people sleep like this in movies or books and I thought you have to sleep like this.
