Heather Locklear is a name that not many of the younger generation will know today, but back during the 80s and 90s, Locklear was one of the major names in the entertainment industry. With hits such as ‘Melrose Place’, ‘Spin City’, and ‘Too Close To Home’, she was a name that many people were familiar with and loved during that time. However, since those glory days, Locklear has had less and less time in the limelight, having fewer projects to take part in — that is until recently. It was reported that on Sunday evening, Heather Locklear was arrested and charged on a count of domestic violence as well as three counts of battery against a police officer that had arrived on the scene and another felony. This story is obviously intriguing, and in this article, we will go into further detail regarding the case as well as what the outcome could very well be for this once popular actress in Hollywood and in the entertainment industry. The Incident
As we said, the call to police came in on Sunday evening, when Locklear’s brother called when he heard Heather and her boyfriend having a dispute when he arrived at their home in Thousand Oaks, California. When police arrived on the scene after the call was made, it was allegedly reported that Locklear apparently became quite aggravated and began to fight the officers who were placing her under arrest. She was eventually taken to the Ventura County Jail on Sunday evening, and was released on Monday morning after posting a $20,000 bail. She is set to be back in court to face her charges on March 13th.
Not The First Time
In case you had forgotten, this is not the first time that Heather Locklear has gotten into trouble in recent years with authorities. She was first arrested back in 2008 when officers were suspicious that she had been driving under the influence. She also had another domestic violence incident back in 2011, when she and her now ex boyfriend, Jack Wagner, had a very violent fight which landed them in court as well. Needless to say, this is not her first problematic dispute that landed her in a heap of trouble, and it makes her story a bit more exciting.
Although this story is still in continuation as it only just happened this past weekend, we are still in a bit of shock that Heather Locklear can be so violent towards so many people. We are still waiting for many details regarding what caused the dispute, and why the series of events occurred as it did, but only time will tell.
