You might be familiar with one franchise more than another, but you are certainly aware of the housewives from New York City. They’re the most boisterous, the most entertaining, the most fascinating of the bunch, and they are always up for having a good time. Dorinda Medley is one of the wives from NYC, and she’s got a daughter people are looking to get to know better. She’s Hannah Lynch, and she’s someone worth knowing.
1. She’s A Lot Like Her Mom
When it comes to her personality, Hannah Lynch is very much like her mother. She’s got a big opinion, she’s not afraid to share it, and she’s having a good time with her life. She’s got a lot going for her, and she is not afraid to make sure that everyone knows what she’s up to. She’s someone who loves hard, has big feelings, and she’s always as open as possible.
2. She’s Close Her to Stepdad
She’s her mother’s first husband’s daughter, but she was very close to her stepdad. He passed away several years ago, and it was a very difficult time for both Hannah and her mother. It’s clear to us that they both loved him very much, and his passing is something difficult for her to deal with. Even if she still has her biological father around, she lost a dad, too.
3. She’s Best Friends With Her Mom
She calls Dorinda not just her mother, but also her best friend. She’s got a lot to say about her, and it’s all good. She calls her someone that she loves and admires. She respects her mother, but she also feels that they’ve grown so close since she became an adult. They have developed a friendship that is closer than just mother and daughter because it also embodies a close friendship that is unlike any other.
4. She’s A Writer
She’s looking to write a book, and she’s working on it now. She calls herself a writer who enjoys to share her stories. She’s lived a big life and had a good time living it, and she’s not someone who is at all ashamed of her lifestyle. She’s living it up and having a good time, and she is proud of that in every manner of speaking.
5. She’s Got a Fun First Thing Habit
When she wakes in the morning, she does one thing before anything else. She puts on lipstick. We love that. We are big believers in taking the time each morning to get dressed and do your hair and makeup for nothing more than the simple fact that it makes you feel so good to see yourself put together. She feels this hard in her soul, and she is all about it.
6. She Went to School With Another RHONY Child
She’s only a year older than Ramona Singer’s daughter. Ramona, as we all know, loves her pinot grigio and her daughter, and she’s one of the OG girls from NYC. She and Dorinda are fast friends, and their daughters went to the same school only a year apart. They both attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart school. It’s a private school only for girls in Manhattan.
7. She Went to Columbia
She attended Columbia University, but we don’t think that she graduated. We hear that her father also went to school here and is part of the 1986 graduating class. However, she decided to leave school after her stepfather passed, which means she spent a bit of her time away. We don’t think she ever went back.
8. She’s Close to Her Stepsiblings
Through her stepfather and her mother’s marriage, she’s close to her two stepsiblings. She’s got a stepsister, Paige, and a stepbrother, Aidan. They are a close family even though Dorinda is not their ‘real’ mother, and they all got together last year to celebrate the wedding of Paige. They took some family photos, too, by the grave of the late Mr. Medley.
9. She Shares Clothes With Her Mom
She and her mother sometimes borrow one another’s outfits, but they don’t have the same style. They have very different fashionable tastes, but that does not mean that they are unable to see past things like their ability to take a piece the other owns and turn it into something amazing and completely unique when the other wears it. It’s a gift.
10. Her Instagram Is Nothing Short of Fabulous
When it comes to the ‘gram, she’s got it down to a science. Her photos are all as beautiful and artistic as they come, and they also show so much about her if you take the time to really read her captions and see what she’s saying. She’s fabulous.
