“Gotta Stitch ‘Em All”: My Cross Stitch Pokémon Project

A few years ago I came across these amazing free cross stitch patterns for various Pokémon and began stitching for fun. They’re small and can usually be completed within a day or a week – depending on size.

When Pokémon Go came out, it became a way to ‘catch’ regional Pokémon that were out of my reach. Eventually, I came up with the “Gotta Stitch ‘Em All Project” to complete all of the available patterns that I could find!

Once I have a little stockpile, I’ll start handing them out at Pokémon Go Events or Community Days around my Province. Other times I’ve just left them at PokéStops and Gyms for people to randomly find.

There are hundreds of patterns available, and I’m currently working on my 141st cross stitch!
