General Hospital fans know Valentin wants to keep his wife in his life, and he’s going to go out of his way to make sure that happens at the Nurses’ Ball. He has already asked Nina to give him another chance when he sees her at the ball, but she turned him down. She doesn’t want anything to do with him now that he has repeatedly lied to her about what is going on with Anna. She still has no idea what he is really doing at the moment, and he won’t tell him. Instead, he’s going to track down Lucy and ask her to do something wonderful. He wants to make a very grand gesture for his wife to remind her that he loves her, and he’s willing to increase his donation at the ball by a million dollars.
We don’t know what he might do, but we know she will take the money and make it happen. We are going to see Sonny and Carly at the ball, and Carly is working hard to make sure this is the best night of her life. She’s not going to let what she feels is absolute betrayal from Sonny get in her way. She’s not happy, but she’s hiding it. Sonny, on the other hand, is over whatever she has to throw his way. He’s no longer interested in fighting for something she repeatedly told him is over, and she’s not going out of her way to stop her childish behavior.
Ava is also at the ball, and she’s going to make a massive mistake. She blackmailed Lucy, and she wants the woman to recognize her blackmail check as a donation in the name of Morgan Corinthos. This will not go over well with Sonny, and we suspect he will take this opportunity to make his move against the woman he is positive had something to do with the death of his son.
