General Hospital fans are very excited to finally see Jennifer Bassey in her new role, and no one can wait to see how she plays it. Is she a bad person? Is she a good one? Is she coming to Port Charles as a friend or an enemy? We don’t know yet; it’s too soon to tell, but we do know she’s a woman who is used to getting her way and she wants to do things her own way in the meantime. It’s her time to finally get what she wants and allow herself the time to overcome all the things that have been bringing her the life she’s been living — good or bad.
It’s also time for Sonny to work his magic. Carly has mentioned to him time and time again that she’s still willing to divorce him, even though they’ve been spending ample time together in an intimate manner. She’s got some issues to work through. Sonny wants to stay married. He’s told her they need to work out the details of their divorce, and they might as well do it on his island and enjoy some peace while working through something so sad.
They leave, and he has an ulterior motive. He has no intention of allowing this divorce to occur. His entire life plan right now is to get her to stay married to him, and he’s not going to wave from that at all. He’s got some romance brewing, and we can’t wait to see it happen.
