General Hospital fans are enamored by what is happening to Sam. She’s gone. She’s so far gone from her own reality that she’s going to track down Sonny herself and give him a warning. She’s darn tired of him being all up in her marriage and her life and in Jason’s life, and she’s tired of Jason dropping everything to always do what Sonny wants him to do. She’s tired of her husband always being in danger and always being upset and unhappy. And she is tired of him being someone she cannot even function with without the fear he will die because of Sonny.
Sonny, thankfully, knows that Sam is sick and needs some medical help as quickly as possible. He won’t do much in the way of arguing with her. He will listen and hear her out, he will say all the right things, and he will call Jason to let him know what’s going on. He knows Sam, and he knows what’s going on with her — and that is his best friend’s wife. He’s not going to hurt her.
But will it make him think? Will it ever occur to him that perhaps he does put his loved ones in more danger than he should for his own personal goals? He seems to be someone who can’t quite get things going without being able to take whatever others have to offer, and this might change if Sam’s words do resonate with him in any way. We don’t know, but it’s possible he might listen.
