General Hospital fans know that Nelle is not getting what she wants. She’s been working so hard to find out what she needs to go to get the people in her life to accept her and love her, and it’s not working. She’s decided to hurt them the way she feels they’ve hurt her as a result, and it’s gone very far downhill for her. She’s not in a position at this point to really get anything else done in her life, and she’s frustrated. She’s pregnant and no one seems to care that she’s carrying a baby that they should love. She’s not even sure they believe her at this point.
And there is the fact that Michael just won’t commit to her. She was certain when she told him she was with a baby he would make that decision. Even if he did not want to be with her, she was certain he would be with her. She was certain she could make him fall for her while he was with her out of obligation, and her plan is not working.
He’s made the decision to do what he feels is best, but it’s not working for her. She’s not able to get what she wants to get out of her life, and she’s not happy with the decisions she’s been making. She’s stuck in a crossroads, and she’s not sure how to get out of them. She wants to change and make a better life for herself.
