General Hospital fans are sure that Nina needs a break. She is more overwhelmed than anyone we know in the history of the world, and we cannot explain to anyone how our hearts feel for her. She is in nothing short of a totally tough place. She’s got a daughter she didn’t know about until this year who is lying on a hospital bed fighting for her life, and no one is sure she will make it. But, this is not her daughter. She doesn’t know that, though. Her husband does. Her fake daughter does. But they are letting her go through this heartbreak and the pain of losing a child — again — when she’s not even her child. It’s hard for us to watch her hurt like this when things take a turn for the worst. And, that’s not all, we cannot say for certain, but we think that she has to find out sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile, we also know that the Good Doctor Obrecht is going to get what she wants, and we all know that what she wants is never what is good for anyone. She’s a hot mess in every manner of speaking, and we simply cannot imagine her getting what she wants and moving on with her own life in this manner. She’s someone we do not have much respect for. She’s someone who does not make us feel good about things, and she’s someone who will find a way to mess things up. Julian is a hot bed of emotions this week, too. He’s getting something going on in his life in every manner, and he’s not taking good care of it. He thinks he is — but that is not the point. He needs more to his story than just this.

Franco, who thinks he is Drew thanks to what happened to him, wants to get out of Port Charles. He is ready to leave. He wants to get out of town, make different life choices, and he wants to get his life together in another manner. But, that’s not all. He also wants to change the way things are going in his life for good. But, his wife doesn’t want to see that happen. She does not want to see him do this. She does not want to see him make this mess of his life and cause this much chaos and end up with things not working out in his favor. She’s what you might refer to as desperate, and that is all there is to it. There is not much happening in their lives that isn’t going to end up being a thing, and we do get that.
But she has no idea what to do and how to do it, and she’s going to do anything she can and use every resource at her disposal to make this happen for her. But, at what cost to everyone in her life will this bring her to a place where she is no longer comfortable with herself? And, what about Monica? She’s going to stop by the ICU to see what’s going on, and what will she find when she gets there? Sonny is looking to make a deal with someone, but at what cost to himself and to his family? Will he do something he regrets? We suspect he might.
