General Hospital fans know that Sonny is being forced to make some big choices in his own mind. He knows that his father’s life is not what it seems anymore, and he’s struggling with that in a way that we cannot explain. He’s not been in a good place in a long time, and that’s not good news for him. But we do think that there is something we can handle if we just sit back and allow things to work in our favor. He is a man who we think can and will make the choices in his heart he needs to make, but for now, the only thing he can do is make sure that he’s able to get his life together and wait. So that’s what he’s been doing. Waiting. And we can say with honesty that he is quite anxious about his waiting, too. It’s not good for him to feel this way, but he’s got it.
Carly is broken. Her heart is crushed. Her situation is just as upsetting as we can imagine, and we have to sit back and allow things to work. We know that Jason has put his life at risk to help Oscar and Josslyn, but we also have no idea how this will end and what will come of this. They’ve been making some careless decisions for a while now, and they’ve been putting their own lives and the lives of others in serious business. There is a lot of sadness around here, and we just cannot handle how this is going and what it means for anyone. We want to know this is an improvement for them, but we don’t know yet. It will be a long weekend, and that’s about all we can tell you right now.

Ava won’t leave Ryan. It’s not part of her plan. She’s looking to figure things out in a way that will work for her, but that means she’s got t do what’s good for her, too. She’s feeling Ryan, and she’s not going to allow anyone else to make her feel bad about that, to take that away from her, or to make her feel as if she is not going to be the best, do the best, or make the best choices in her own life. She’s hard at work making sure that things go their way, and she’s not giving that up in any capacity. But, for now, she’s going to figure things out for herself.
Anna is going to learn the truth, and we cannot decide if she can handle it. She’s been through so much with her vision the past few months, and things cannot get any worse for her — at least that is her hope. She wants to be sure things are going to eventually work out, but she has to face some hard truths today that might make her feel as if that is impossible. She’s not getting things handled to the degree she should, and she’s upset about it. Sonny is paying his respects today, but it’s not been an easy day for him. He is struggling with all of this, and Carly’s heartbreak is not making it easier on him to deal with it in a way that seems like it might work for either of them in the near future.
