General Hospital fans are going to see things take a very big turn for Maxie. We know her character is almost done, but we know that this will only get worse for her as she learns more of the truth. She did not know, for example, that Peter was not who he said he was. She’s been in a relationship of friendship situations with him for a while now, and we hear that she will realize she’s been foolish, and she might just feel stupid. She’s lost her husband, she has this baby to think of, and she’s managed to make herself look stupid in the meantime. We don’t blame her. She was lonely and going through something no one should ever go through. She lost her husband while pregnant with his baby, and this is not an easy situation for anyone.
She’s been going through so much, and now she’s going through even more. This is not what she needed at this point in her life, and it might be the catalyst that changes her future in another way, too. She might find that things are not what they seem and they are not going to work for her in a way that she feels is beneficial. She might find that things are not going to work, but she might also decide now is a good time for her to take off and never look back. There really is nothing left here for her at this point in her life.
She’s leaving, but we don’t know how or when. She’s going to make some decisions on her own, and we maintain that we think she will leave of her own accord. She will not just stand up and get her life taken from her. We think that she will make the decision to leave because this life and this area is not good for her. And we think it will be very soon rather than much later.
