General Hospital spoilers have a lot going on this week. We’ve seen Sonny and Martina make out. We’ve seen Carly hire Martina to represent her in her divorce from Sonny, and we’ve seen that this is all about to unfold in a very dramatic manner. It was disheartening to watch Michael with his mother as she handed him her divorce paperwork. He is not happy with her trying to hurt his father, but she can’t see things from her son’s point of view. Michael told her Friday she will regret this decision to hurt Sonny like this, but she says she won’t. Michael pointed out she might not regret it now, but at some point it will come back to bite her and make her feel terrible. It’s not something she’s happy to hear, but she really believes her son is just worried for no reason. We agree with him.
But what’s really interesting is what we learn about Helena Cassadine. Jason is headed to Cassadine Island to see if he can find anything to help his son. He has to know what is going on with Jake and why this island means so much to him following his kidnapping. What will he find? There are so many secrets in this place, and it’s been a long time since she faked the boy’s death, but he’s been a different child for the past six years since she took him captive and kept him on her dangerous island.
Now that he’s home with his mother and father, they have a lot of work to do with him. It was four very long years this child spent on this island with Helena. But he does have a few memories. Now they are worried about what’s going on with him. Now we have to know what Jason finds on the island. He’s going to find out there is some information he didn’t know about the Chimera Project, but that information is going to tell him something else entirely. What he finds out is that Helena Cassadine is not dead. She’s alive and well and living her life on her island, taking control of everyone from afar.
