General Hospital fans are always looking for something that might happen in the best way, and sometimes that means people need to come back from the dead. We love when our favorite characters come back from the dead, and we have a long list of those we’d like to see the most. Over the years, many of the best — and worst — people in Port Charles have been killed, died on their own, or just aged out of the show on their deathbeds. And we miss many of them. We’d love to see the show bring some back, and we know it’s always possible in almost every situation. We are all aware there is no such thing as a final death on this show, and we want to see some of these familiar faces show up and make our days.
Nathan
First and foremost, we know the left the show because he became the biggest Lifetime movie actor of the year last year, but we want him back. Watching his death was one of the worst moments we’ve witnessed in recent years. He’s made us all happy even though he’s made some questionable decisions. But Maxie has this brand-new baby, her husband is dead, and she’s in the middle of a mess. Her own life is a mess, her sister-in-law’s life is an even bigger mess finding out she had a daughter she thought died at birth so many years ago who doesn’t want to get to know her now. It’s all been a giant mess and a huge problem for all of them. But right now, we just want to see him come back and make us happy with all his life issues. He’s our favorite, and we want him back.
Morgan
Morgan had to die because his girlfriend’s mother is insane. Ava felt she needed to take his medication and switch it out, which made him crazy. She might not have meant for him to die so much as she meant for him to lose everyone he loved, but it happened that way. She’s a mess because of it, and her actions caused a huge chain of events that no one can ever take back. Ava made a mess of everything, and it’s cost her so much in her own life. However, she’s not going to ever life this down.
His family has fallen apart since his death, and we’d love to see him come back and try to help them pick up the pieces and put themselves back together. His mother is insane and a mess, his brother lost a baby, his sister is doing all kinds of things wrong, and there have been so many people in their lives who have capitalized on his death and tried to make it one of those things that didn’t ever work out for them. But we miss him, and we’d love to see him come back from the dead and change the way his family lives their lives. They are a mess, and they need him to come in and fix them and their issues. Can the show make that happen?
Emily
She may or may not have been one of the most beloved characters of all time on the show, and we get it. We know that she’s such a darling, and we know that she’s someone we’d love to see come back. Her death was the worst for all of us, and we’d love to see her make some changes in the lives of the people she left behind. Jason, for instance, might have been closer to her than anyone else, but this is something that might change him. His life has also been a mess, and she is one of the very few people he had any memory of when he came back from his coma caused by his drunken big brother’s driving accident. He was so close to her, and we’d love to see this situation work out. If ever there was a person we didn’t think would come back from the dead, however, it’s Emily. The show won’t bring her back, and we do get that it is probably a good idea to keep it that way. But we can dream.
