General Hospital fans know that Carly is struggling. She’s currently going through more than anyone might imagine, and she’s about to try and fix her life. She knows she cannot control what is happening to her in terms of how her own son is haunting her from the grave — she knows it’s not real, but she simply cannot make it stop, and that has a lasting effect on her. But what she can do is try and work on her relationship with Josslyn. She’s been unhappy with her since her mother decided that Sonny was more important to her than Jax. Jax is the father of Joss, and she’s been feeling betrayed.
She’s been acting out in a major way. She’s befriended Nelle, who hates Carly. Her own brother, Michael, has asked her time and time again to please give their mother a break and give her a chance to make things right, but Joss is not interested in any of that. She’s a petulant teen whose feelings are hurt and ego wounded.
But Carly isn’t allowing this to go on any longer. She’s dealing with a lot, and she’s dealt with enough from Joss. She’s over it, done with it, and she’s moving on. She’s not going to allow this child to sit back and ruin her life anymore than she’s already done. She’s going to take the extra step and go the extra mile to get things done and handled so that she can handle what’s coming her way.
She’s not going to stop until she can handle her relationship with her daughter and fix it the way she knows it can be fixed. She wants to have her back in her life, and she’s going to do whatever she can to get it there. She’s going to start today. And she’s going to make it her greatest mission. She cannot have Morgan back from the dead, but she can have her daughter back from whatever is bothering her and making her miserable with her mother. And Carly is on that mission hard starting right now.
