General Hospital fans have seen their fair share of horrible actors. It’s not easy to go to work each and every day and give it your all when you aren’t good at what you do, and that’s when people are fired. Actors are not unlike other people in the world who just aren’t good at what they do. It might not be the job for everyone. It might not be the specific job category itself — meaning they aren’t bad actors — but it might just be this specific job. Perhaps they are amazing actors who will rock it until the day they die on another show, but this one isn’t working for them. We’ve gone through the articles and the things we’ve found online, and we’ve taken some of the actors and actresses who were given the raw end of the deal by being voted the worst of the worst, and we’ve broken that down into those who aren’t bad actors; they just had bad roles.

Say what you want about the lovely Kiki Jerome, but we think that she was so much better than being voted one of the worst actors on the show of all time. You see, we think she is good at what she does. We think that she was able to show us a bit more than just a little talent on the show. We think that she was able to show us some real, raw talent and make it work for all of us. We think that she was, and is, awesome, but that she was given a very shallow character. Kiki wasn’t much in terms of depth. She was just out to fight with her mom, be a bad girl, and get her own way. She was stripped of her powerful and electric personality back in 2013, and that was taken from her when the character was changed out with a new actress and the writing went far downhill. It’s not her. It’s the show.

There are those who really don’t think that he’s a guy who is good at what he does, but we are in disagreement with those people. We find him to be precisely what people need in a character, but we find that his character is weak and unexciting. The moment he took a baby from Nelle and pretended it was his own baby should have been a pivotal moment for him as an actor, but the show did him a disservice by making him a total loser about all of it. They’ve taken all he has to work with by turning him into a whiny, annoying, almost obnoxious character when we know he has more to offer than that. If they gave him something to really work with, perhaps standing up to Julian or looking Lucas right in the eye and telling him what he did, why he did it, and that he won’t settle for anything less, he might be able to regain some fans.

There are those who feel that she is the worst of the worst in her job, and it’s all because she’s not an Emmy winner. That’s not really enough for us, to be honest. There are so many beautiful and amazing actresses in daytime television that we know how hard it is to win this. However, she’s good at what she does. She’s so good at being Sam that we are convinced she is Sam. We are so convinced she is Sam that we had a hard time getting to know her as herself when she was on “Dancing with the Stars,” because she is just Sam McCall in our eyes. But, this is not a fair assessment of her to be voted the worst on the show. She’s good, but she’s been given miserable writing. She’s not allowed to smile because she is living the single worst life ever on the show. She is always worried, fighting for someone’s life, and trying to take care of her family. She doesn’t have time to do anything else, like be the best of the best. So, here’s to her for working so hard through the poor stories she is so often given.
