The summer is upon us and you know what that means: summer blockbuster movies. We know what’s coming. We’re prepared for it. We’re excited for it. The amount of billions that box offices are not only making around the globe now but what will be made this summer could easily pay off the debts of a number of small countries out there. But here’s the thing about a summer blockbuster. It feels like for every successful blockbuster there’s also at least one that fails. It’s probably more than that but if a film rakes in a ton of dough then financially it’s not a failure.
Even so, us movie goers will rip said films to shreds in our forums, blogs, Facebook pages, social media pages, wherever to let it be known that we wasted our hard earned dollars. Speaking of letting our opinions be known wouldn’t it be awesome if we could go back in time and change the titles to some of these films to more accurately reflect what they really were? That way we wouldn’t have wasted out time in the theaters.
