Former Young and the Restless Stars Star Together in New Hallmark Movie

Young and the Restless fans are not happy that some of their favorite fans aren’t part of the show anymore, but that’s par for the course when you have a daytime soap schedule. It’s not for everyone, but it is for some people. There are two people it worked for — for a while — but it’s been a while since we’ve seen them on television in the daytime. It’s not going to be much longer, however, before we see them both in a primetime movie on one of our favorite channels ever — The Hallmark Channel.

The Christmas movies are already being rolled out, and we can tell you with certainty that there are some exciting new things happening in this situation. For one, we are going to see that Tatyana Ali and Dennis Haysbert are both showing up on the Hallmark Channel this year. And not just showing up — they are actually starring together in a movie! It’s called “Christmas Everlasting,” and it premieres on Saturday, November 24th at 8 pm. This is one of those movies that doesn’t make much sense if you don’t love it completely, but it’s one that does make a lot of sense if you do love those kind of movies.

These two will turn out the be the best of the best. Ali plays a woman by the name of Lucy who works as a corporate lawyer in New York City. She’s been promised a promotion and the title of partner in the New Year because of all the hard work and dedication she’s put into her job. However, her oldest sister is going to pass away during the holiday season, and it’s going to be a rough situation for this young woman. She will need to go back home to Wisconsin to handle a few of the things her sister left behind, and she will do so filled with guilt that she didn’t even take her sister’s last call. Her sister was a special needs woman, and this is something that she cannot take back. She has a lot of guilt.

While she’s home, she’s going to find out that her sister’s attorney is her own high school sweetheart, and that’s going to put a real damper on her spirits — which are already beyond low. She’s going to find that he has to tell her that she must live in and reside in her sister’s home for 30 days during the holiday season and do all the holiday things her sister loved if she wants to inherit her home. And that means leaving work, her career, her obligations, and probably her promotion. Will she do it? And will she and her old boyfriend find that they have a lot more in common than they thought they did before they broke up and went to their own respective law schools?

This is a movie you don’t want to miss out on, and it might just be one of those that hits a little close to home. A woman who does nothing but work work work to make her dreams come true, but she never takes time for herself or her family. She only does the things that require her to do them to get by, but she works nonstop. This is a story that works to resonate with people all over the world because of the way so many of us live. We work, we don’t take time for ourselves, and we don’t make it a point to be the kind of people who are entirely present in the lives of our kids, our friends, our families or anyone else for that matter.

This is one that will air the weekend after Thanksgiving on Saturday night. We know that this is rivalry game Saturday for College Football fans, but we know that you have a DVR you can use to record this one and watch it with a few of your favorite Young and the Restless alums. This is not a movie you want to miss, especially if you want to see some of your favorite former daytime stars working again. This is a good one, and we recommend it as one of the better movies this season.
