American actress Rhea Seehorn has made an impact on fans of “Better Call Saul” in her role as Kim Wexler. She’s also familiar to viewers of the NBC show “Whitney,” TNTs “Franklin & Bash” and ABCs “I’m With Her.” We’ve seen a lot of her in various supporting roles and the veteran actress has received multiple prestigious awards and nominations for her contributions. We know that she’s good at her craft, but here are five things that fans don’t know about her.
1. Rhea is an artist
As a young girl, Rhea had an avid passion for art including drawing and painting. She inherited her talent and love of art from her grandmother and father. She engaged in art studies from an early age, but her focus turned towards visual arts including theater and movies. She kept her desire to become an actor for a while, but found her way into the profession in college. She took acting classes and the rest is history.
2. Her father was her inspiration
Rhea lost her father while she was still attending college. He did something remarkable for her before he passed away. He left her a message that urged her to do “everything she wants to do in this life.” It was at this point that Rhea decided to enroll in acting classes and take her education and career in a different direction. This should have erased any doubts that she had about moving out of her father’s footsteps and taking the path that took her on her own life’s journey.

Every different location gave her valuable life experience which she could later draw upon in her career as an actress. She’s seen a good cross-section of people in the country as well as in the orient and this would serve her well as she developed a variety of characters as an actress.
4. She has a diverse portfolio
Many fans know Rhea from her appearances in television series, but the multi-talented actress has ran the gamut in a variety of different acting platforms and roles she’s played. It was at Arena Stage and the Wooly Mammoth Theater Company that she starred in several productions.
