It was just reported recently that model Chanel Iman has officially tied the knot with her boyfriend (now husband) Sterling Shepard, who is a wide receiver for the New York Giants in the NFL. The two seem to have married on March 3rd in front of friends and family at the Beverly Hills Hotel. While many are excited about the nuptials, many don’t know much about the model in general before she began her relationship with the football player. That’s why we are here. Past Relationships
Chanel Iman has had her fair share of relationships in the past few years. She first began dating rapper ASAP Rocky in April of 2013; However, the pair ended their relationship a little over a year after it began, with the rapper stating that it was caused by a tour schedule change and delay. Iman then began dating basketball player Jordan Clarkson, who played for the L.A. Lakers. They began their relationship in 2015, and ended it shortly after due to cheating rumors. This led to her current relationship with Sterling Shepard, and now the pair are married, as we mentioned.
Love Of Cooking
Iman has been known to state that if she hadn’t become a supermodel and gotten into the industry, she more than likely would have gone to the Culinary Institute of America. She has an insane love for cooking and food in general, and even loves to dabble in creating her own unique recipes and dishes.
Philanthropy And Activism
Throughout her career in the modeling world, Iman has had much participation with different campaigns and fundraisers as well. In 2011, she actually visited the region of Eastern Africa along with other celebrities as part of the USAID and Ad Council’s FWD campaign. They were helping to raise awareness about the droughts that were taking place in the region during that time. She has also been involved with fundraising opportunities for various organizations, including the Runway To Win campaign, and even raising money for Obama’s campaign as well.
She Is Musically Talented As Well
Not only is Iman gifted in modeling, but she is also very talented when it comes to playing the piano. In fact, she actually contributed a bit of her talents to the song entitled ‘Just Right’, which debuted on Ryan Leslie’s self titled album.
Down Time
When she is not busy with her modeling or other acting projects, she likes to spend her down time reading. She particularly enjoys the works and books of Khaled Hosseini as well as Dan Brown.
