Ainsley Earhardt was born in Spartanburg South Carolina on September 20, 1976. She is an American Broadcast Journalist for Fox News and a television personality. She is also known as the co-host of ‘Fox & Friends’. She began her career in the television industry in 2000 and has gradually gained more recognition and fame for her work. Although she is now a quite well-known as a television host and personality, there are many things that people do not know about this presenter. 1. She Has Been Married Twice
Ainsley Earhardt has been married twice. Her first husband was her college sweetheart Kevin McKinney who she married in April 2005. Their marriage did not last and the divorce was finalized in 2009. She then married Will Proctor in October 2012. He is a former Clemson University quarterback. The couple has on daughter together who was born on November 6, 2015.
2. She Attended the Same Elementary School as Other Fox Correspondents
Bizarrely, Ainsley Earhardt attended the same elementary school as some other people who are also Fox correspondents. Earhardt went to Sharon Elementary School in Charlotte, North Carolina. That is the same school that was attended by Fox correspondents Anna Kooiman and Heather Childers. However, none of the women were at the school at the same time so they were not classmates.
3. She Has a Degree in Journalism
After leaving high school, Earhardt received a leadership and academic scholarship to attend Florida State University and was majoring in biology. She then decided that a career in journalism was more suited to her and moved to the University of South Carolina to study journalism. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism. During her time at her first university, she was in the Alpha Delta Pi sorority and at her second university, she was in the Beta Epsilon sorority.
4. She Had Her Own Segment on ‘Hannity’
One of Ainsley Earhardt’s many jobs was presenting her own segment on ‘Hannity’. This was called ‘Ainsley Across America’. ‘Hannity’ is a political commentary and current affairs series on the Fox News network that is hosted by Sean Hannity. Since 2017, the Monday to Thursday editions of this series are aired live, while the Friday episode is pre-recorded. Other features of the series are a panel discussing current and political issues and interviews with special guests.
5. She Enjoyed Many Fun Activities While Living in Texas
For the first five years of her career, Ainsley Earhardt worked in the South Carolina area. She then moved to Texas in 2005 when she landed the job as an anchor for the weekday newscasts of ‘Eyewitness News This Morning’ and ‘Eyewitness News at Noon’ for KENS-TV. During her time in Texas, Earhardt enjoyed many fun activities. These included flying in an F-16 with the Air Force Thunderbirds, skydiving at the Air Force Academy with the U.S Army’s Golden Knights, and competing in the Texas half-marathon. She left Texas in 2007 and moved to New York when she landed her job with the Fox News Channel.
