Wind River is a thriller that will be released on August 4 of 2017. In brief, it starts with an agent of the US Fish and Wildlife Service finding a murder victim out in the wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation. As a result, a FBI agent is called in for the investigation, but since she is unprepared for the challenges that come with the location, she secures the assistance of the US Fish and Wildlife Service agent on her hunt for the perpetrator.

Here are five reasons that we’re excited to see Wind River:
By Taylor Sheridan
Wind River is the first time that Taylor Sheridan will be directing a movie. However, it is far from being the first time that said individual has been involved in the making of a movie, seeing as how he was the one who wrote both Sicario and Hell or High Water. As a result, while his directorial talents remain uncertain, it seems to say that Wind River possesses plenty of potential based on its predecessors.
Set in a Real Place
While it is not the most famous place out there, the Wind River Indian Reservation is a real place in the state of Wyoming. It has been mentioned that the movie will cover human issues as well as natural issues inspired by the real place, which should provide it with a much-needed sense of realness that can enhance certain narratives.
Featuring Elizabeth Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen will be playing the FBI agent sent to investigate the murder in the Wind River Indian Reservation. For people who are unfamiliar with the name, she is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, meaning that she got her start in professional acting in their movies. However, Elizabeth Olsen has since had important roles in a number of well-known movies, with examples ranging from Godzilla in 2014 to Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015, meaning that she is more than a proven actress.
Featuring Jeremy Renner
Likewise, Jeremy Renner will be playing the US Fish and Wildlife Service agent alongside Elizabeth Olsen. In main, he is known for his performances in The Town and The Hurt Locker, but it is interesting to note that this is not the first time that he has worked with his cast-mate, seeing as how he has also played Hawkeye in numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Suffice to say that Jeremy Renner brings plenty of expertise and experience to his role, which should bode well for the movie as a whole.
Has Positive Reviews So Far
Wind Dance actually premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. As a result, there are already a lot of reviews that can be found out there, which have taken a positive tone for the most part. Generally speaking, they note that Wind River has much the same strengths as its predecessors, which should come as welcome news to people who are interested in tense thrillers with plenty of uncomfortable but nonetheless eminently watchable action.
Follow Us
For me the first reason to watch it is Jeremy Renner and the way he has acted deserves all the Oscar recognition.
This proves that he is a lead actor to be reckon with. Hope he gets more exposure after this.
