Taylor Swift has been a busy bee while working on the new album that she’s planning to release. Some fans may have wondered why it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything new from her. She is well known for churning out one hit after the other in rapid succession, but there has been a lull in the activity that fans became so accustomed to. Could it be that she’s been working on something big? We’re aware that she’s working on the new release, but what will it be like? Here are five predictions about Taylor Swift’s new era of music that are based on what we currently know.
1. “Reputation” is going to take her to the front of the line
Taylor hasn’t been in the spotlight as much recently because of the time that she’s dedicated to the completion of her new album, but this doesn’t mean that she is unaware of Katy Perry’s little digs. Watch for Swift to emerge with an answer that will put Perry on the floor with one “Swift” release. It’s not a good idea to mess with the queen of word-smithing. We may think that Taylor has let the last jab go, but we’re willing to lay money on the probability of her coming back with a song that will defend her reputation and lay low the competition for the throne.
2. Long absences indicate dedication and hard work for “Big Comeback”
Taylor’s been protecting a secret for certain. We’re predicting that the four month absences from the public were spent working on a new release that will signal a big comeback from the music sensation. She hasn’t been dazzling us like she used to, and we’re sure that it’s for a very good reason. Taylor will always have a huge following, but the lull has been fairly long and in order to get back up on the charts, she’s going to need a re-awakening and we believe that she’s going to to make a huge comeback with her new material. The name “Reputation” itself gives us an idea that she’s about to get a big boost and it’s probably gonna include some songs that make her unforgettable.
3. The content will be related to her lucky number 13
The reason we believe this is because of a few clues that we’ve observed. She’s big on leaving clues, particularly when she is excited about something and is not at liberty to talk about it yet. So far, we’ve seen a tweet from Big Machinen Label Group of a clock with hands pointing to the 10 and the 3. Nearly every die hard Swifty knows that her favorite number is thirteen. While the clue is a bit cloaked, that’s the way that Taylor does things.
4. There will be an emphasis on wasted time
In the same tweet that displays the clock, the phrases “around the clock” and “You can’t recycle wasted time” and some fairly blatant clues. We know that all Taylor really needs is one experience in her life and a catch phrase to turn it into an entire album that is chock full of number one hits. We’re confident in these predictions about the direction that her new era of music is going to take.
5. A new look for Taylor?
With our last prediction, we believe that Taylor is going to deal with the aspects of time, the number thirteen and somehow involve reputation in the mix. We’ve established that, but in a final prediction, we believe that her new era of music is going to represent change and moving forward as she is changing through the passage of time. Taylor has made some serious evolution in her music already, but what we don’t know is what is coming up next? We have to stick with our belief that she’s going to wow everyone with something that is different and new. We’re not privy to any information about what that might be, because she’s doing her best to keep the exciting news a secret. If it wasn’t going to be fabulous, why would she be so thrilled about it? Are we about to experience a new phase of Taylor Swift’s already amazing music career? Will there be genre shifts? We can hardly wait to find out for sure.
