Five Great Scenes in Movie Where Water is Splashed in Someone’s Face

Scenes in movies where someone gets water splashed in their face are kind of great since it usually means they’ve just been greatly insulted and something exciting or at least dramatic is about to happen. There are so many of these scenes that picking from them all is kind of tough, but the ones below should be counted as some of the best considering their content and what movies they’re from. Sometimes splashing water on your face can be a chance to freshen up and get ready for the day or to cool down. But a lot of times in movies it means that someone just got offended and stuff is about to get real.

Real interesting that is.

5. White Men Can’t Jump

So really, when a woman says to you that she’s thirsty what would be your first inclination? You’d get up and go get them a glass of water or tell them to go get it themselves, right? The former would be accepted by a lot of women while the latter would probably get a guy in trouble sometimes. But hearing a woman going into a long-winded speech about how stating that she’s thirsty means that she wants the guy to sympathize with her would be immediate grounds for tossing the whole glass of water in her face and asking her if it was refreshing.

4. Jackass: The Movie

Does anyone ever wonder why Bam was considered to be such a good friend to the guys when he pulled stuff like this? Of course Jackass was all about doing stupid things but there were times when Bam just seemed to go the extra mile to be a jerk to everyone even if it was a part of the show. The best joke ever played on Bam, and he deserved every second of it, was when he tried to pull this on a cast member and fell into a well-hidden pit filled with rubber snakes. If you know anything about Jackass then you know that Bam is deathly afraid of snakes, so it was the perfect payback.

3. Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl

First of all sleeping in the pigsty seems suspect anyway, and then getting upset when someone wakes you to get you out of the pigsty hardly seems like the kind of offense that would warrant having a knife ready to pull on a person. But these are pirates we’re talking about so really any reason to have a knife on you would be a good one if you’re keeping company with the likes of Captain Jack Sparrow and those of like mind.

2. Cars 3

Everything was going great when McQueen was covered in mud and everyone thought he was just another racer, but when the water truck tips and the seal on his top busts everyone in the crowd is afforded a rare treat, which is Lightning McQueen attending a demolition derby.

1. Kill Bill Vol. 2

Okay admittedly this is more like splashing a person’s face IN the water, but it’s close enough to count since this fight was something that audience was ready and willing to see since Elle Driver showed up in the first movie. Did you ever happen to notice however that Beatrix got her butt handed to her in every fight? For being the most awesome person in her squad she got beat up a lot, and just about killed by the guy you’d expect the least out of, Bud.

Water in the face, a classic bit of comedy anywhere it’s shown.
