Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood premiered a blazing hot season on June 24, 2017. Producers had promised a fresh show laced with drama, out of hand conflict and a cast consisting of new faces. One notable new face on the show is Keyshia Cole. The heaven sent hit maker joined the likes of Chanel Westcoast and Brooke Valentine to thrill us in yet another thrilling season. But Cole’s appearance in the show appears to have been far-fetched. Apparently, it comes at a time she is trying to do parenting and releasing a highly anticipated music album.
Love & hip hop: The Hollywood premiered with a one hour of drama filled episode. From the start, it was clear that the series will be a star studded show. Other than Keyshia Cole, we got introduced to Omarion, Ray J, Soulja Boy and Lil Fizz. The series will be showing every Monday on VH1.
Favorite moments
Well, it was appalling to realize Omarion and Apryl are expecting their second baby. They showed up in a prenatal appointment together. Omarion was really adorable when he suggested Apryl’s mother ought to have been there with them during the appointment. I am not sure if it is straight gross or romantic to have your mother-in-law at the prenatal appointment of your wife.
Omarion also turned to be a stunningly kind person (or should I say he is a gentleman?). After things had turned out that his wife and her mother were not in good terms with each other, he quickly brokered a peace deal for the sake of the pregnancy. Furthermore, he offered to settle his mother-in-law’s medical bills. That’s adorable and looks like a love life everyone can relate with.
But the most favorite part must have been the introduction of Lil Fizz aka Dru formerly of B2K. It turned out that Lil Fizz has a bubbly four-year-old son. He finally got to talk to the former group member of B2K (Omarion) and ended up discussing the disbandment of the group among other things. Well, at least Lil Fizz has a family to manage and that is the favorite part.
Hilarious part
Moniece carries herself around as a quite unpredictable person who can’t stick to anything in particular for a long time. She has had an array of ventures but we didn’t think for a minute if a sex toy line would be part of her ventures. She is capable of anything, anyway.
Surprising moments
Apparently, Soulja Boy and Nia Riley have dated previously for 8 years but had broken up over some contentious reasons. Although it was surprising that Soulja Boy was starting to define their relationship at the start of the series, I never had any slightest knowledge about the existence of their one-year-old daughter.
It took most of us by surprise when Lil Fizz appeared in the show to be rejoined with his former B2K band mate. The two appeared to have moved on to other things with time. But the quasi-reunion left some nostalgic feelings in a lot of B2K fans.
