Yesterday we brought you a little tease for War for the Planet of the Apes but today the official trailer has arrived and it’s not looking great for the humans. The third installment of the rebooted franchise directed by Matt Reeves is set to hit theaters on July 14th so we still have ample time for more clips, pictures, and potential spoilers. But in this trailer Caesar (Andy Serkis) returns, and this one adds Woody Harrelson as a ruthless adversary and Steve Zahn as a character called “bad ape.”
I’m not sure how I feel about the title “bad ape” but what can you do? I can say that this trailer does look pretty sweet so this might be a theater worthy flick.
