Days of Our Lives fans know a truly great moment only happens once or twice over the course of the years. But this is a show that’s been on so many years that there have been so many great moments come and go. We can’t tell you how many of them we think are really the best, and we know that you might disagree with some of them or have better moments to add. However, we can try and share with you some of our favorite story lines, moments, or big reveals over the course of the years. When Kristen’s Secret Was Revealed
Do you remember when John was slated to marry Kristen? She was the long-lost DiMera, and they fell madly in love and began their romantic courtship when they were in this situation together? There they were on their wedding day. Just ready to walk down the aisle and marry one another and love their lives forever. She was in the most dramatic gown imaginable, and then a fight happened. Her fake teeth flew out of her mouth, and it was in that moment everyone knew that this woman was not Kristen. She’d worked so hard to convince them she was, but that’s when everyone found out she was really Susan Banks. It was a classic. We love a wedding that’s totally ruined.
Sami’s Sister’s Smackdown
This one might not go down as the most dramatic moment ever, but it does go down as one of the most fun. We all enjoyed watching as Sami lied continuously to Austin that her son belonged to him and that they were meant to be together, even though she knew it was her sister who loved him the most and whom he loved back. But when they were set to get married on their big day, her entire situation was revealed to be a giant scheme. We all loved it, and it was so much fun to watch as Carrie managed to share it all, and then lay a massive smackdown on her sister in the process. Sami’s always been controversial, so this one was fun to watch. She’s had her fair share of moments, and we expect to see her take down another true love situation when she shows up in Salem with a new baby to show off. She is good about letting people think her babies are their babies, and we think she’s going to walk in and ruin any chance of Hope and Rafe’s reunion.
Hope’s Marital Interruption
Do you sense a theme here? We love a wedding that’s interrupted like you wouldn’t believe. We all love and remember that one time when the lovely Hope was being courted by the not-so-lovely Larry Welch. He was a slimy, dirty, disgusting politician at the time, and fans knew he was not good to her. But that didn’t stop them from doing what they needed to do and making this couple one that people loved to hate. Hope was really into him for a moment, but not so into him she ever forgot her one true love. Of course, we know that one true love as Bo Brady. When it was time for her to wed this slimy politician, the show decided they would make it their mission to end this situation by romantically bringing back Bo. He came into her life, he swept her off her feet, and she didn’t marry Larry.
The Re-Marriage and Marriage
We can’t go on without mentioning that one time that Ben walked right out of the crazy house and into the second wedding of the couple he tried to kill by burning them to death in bed, and the widowed husband of the man he allegedly killed. Ben was thought to have killed Will, and that left Sonny without a husband. He and Paul were marrying one another during a double ceremony alongside Abigail and Chad, and Ben walked in to scare them all and mention that Will is, in fact, alive and well. That kind of ruined the day for everyone, and now we have a lot more of Ben.
