Netflix and DreamWorks Animation Television have collaborated for 5 years producing 14 original series. These include “All Hail King Julien”, “Trollhunters” and “Spirit Riding Free”. The union is expanding and expects to produce 4 new animated series this year using the vast Universal Pictures library. The union is set to release 4 new animated series through Netflix this year. Plot

Instead, the series will follow Dom Toretto’s (Vin Diesel’s character in the movie franchise) cousin, Tony Toretto and his friends on their own adventures. The teenagers are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league. This racing league is actually a front for a major crime agency. With animation, we can expect the series to include even more action packed racing scenes than we see in the films. The new series will attract all generations and fans of the films.
Showrunners
The new Netflix streamed “Fast and Furious” animated series is created by DreamWorks writers Tim Hedrick and Bret Haaland. Hedrick worked on “Voltron: Legendary Defenders”, and Haaland worked on “Madagascar” spin-offs “The Penguins of Madagascar” and “All Hail Julien”. The two will work on and executive produce the series along the “Fast and Furious” stars Vin Diesel, Neal Moritz and Chris Morgan.
