Take any mundane thing.
Take a coffee cup you see every day. Or a compass you bought on a vacation, but obviously, never used. Look at it. Try to listen to all the stories it’s trying to tell. About the airship in a coffee steam or about castles rising from a stack of blank paper sheets.
That’s what I do. Trying to be a translator from the language of things in the human language.
