Every Single Epic Movie Sword Fight in a Single Montage

Sword fighting has always been a staple in movies. All the way back to the early 30s we’ve seen epic sword fights in cinema.  They carry an element of drama that other fights don’t have.  Not only are you looking at incredible choreography but the mental aspect of it is also at play.  In a sword fight there are no guns.  Right there it’s put in a more “manly” category.  You have the actual swords themselves which for people who love welding and sword making, it can bring a great element as well.

Also, sword fighting is just more “personal” if you will.  People can appreciate the emotions as well as skill involved in each fight.  There’s much more of a dramatic element than if a character simply shot another character.  It’s why we also love boxing scenes and martial arts scenes.

In any event, this video was made a couple years ago but there are still none like it.  It’s a single cut of all of cinema’s greatest sword fights.
