With each passing day I feel there’s a greater chance we may very well see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the democratic nomination for the 2020 Presidential election. While Johnson’s hinted at his possible venture into politics and a run for President, talk of this has skyrocketed in recent weeks given all of the controversy in the White House. I personally think if an election took place today that Johnson would win in a landslide.
What’s funny about this is that it wasn’t particularly long ago that Donald Trump himself became a fixture of the WWE. His cameos with Vince McMahon and the WWE drove up ratings for a short time. Pit Trump against Johnson, who is widely considered one of the best entertainers in existence today and you have quite a matchup.
A recent poll showed that in a Presidential Election pitting Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson against Donald Trump, The Rock would win the election 42% to Trump’s 37%.
