I’m sure that many of you have already seen the “Children Interrupt BBC interview.” If not don’t worry there’s a link to it right over the text. For those who haven’t, a professor by the name of Robert Kelly was being interviewed by BBC news from the confines of his own home. Of course when you’re at home you run the risk of just about anything personal happening. And personal definitely happened while his webcam interview was taking place.
Right in the middle of the interview Kelly’s kid comes barging into his office and for whatever reason this video went absolutely bonkers. It’s far and away been this week’s biggest hit and will always been remembered. I think it’s because it’s truly the first time something like that’s been caught on a major TV station. Otherwise I’m not really sure why so many people are infatuated with it. Maybe it’s the vulnerability factor?
Speaking of which, this probably happens all the time. Even in the Star Wards universe people probably get interrupted while trying to conduct interviews right? What about Darth Vader? Youtuber “Jack of All Genius” filmed a parody of the video using various characters from the Star Wars franchise: Darth Vader, the Emperor, R2-D2, and BB-8.
