Days of Our Lives fans know that Vivian hired Leo. He’s been seeing Sonny, and she wants him to make Sonny fall in love with him. The plan is so she can get what she wants from everyone in this town, and he’s going to do what he is being paid to do. She’s not going to be happy until she gets what she wants, and this is one of her phases of her plan. She feels she can get him to fall for Sonny — or at least make him think he is falling for him — and she can infiltrate his family.
The thing about Sonny is that he’s not in a good place. He’s been hurt by both his ex-husband and his fiancé after he hurt them both. He’s alone and miserable right now as they are working on falling more and more in love with one another, and it’s been a very interesting situation. He’s in a bad place all alone and without anyone to love, and Vivian knows this.
She knows he is an easy target with a chip on his shoulder at the moment. He wants what he wants, but he can’t have any of it. He and Brady continue to fight, he’s lost both the men he loved, and he’s all alone. He’s vulnerable, and she can use that to the best of her abilities. She’s got a plan, and she can make it work well for her if she really puts her mind to it.
