Days of Our Lives fans are happy to see that Sami and Lucas are back in town, but we are not happy about why. Our situation is one that makes us sad and happy at the same time. We were all happy to see that Sonny and Will got to marry again. They can at least spend their last days together with the knowledge that this time they are happily married. But, they are also faced with the horrible realization Will is dying. He cannot survive if they don’t find Rolf’s diary, and they do know where it is. Now his own parents are back in town, and they have to find a way to make sure they find this. They want their son to live. They aren’t sure they can go through another moment in their lives in which they have to bury him again. They already buried Will and mourned his loss for so long once before. The odds of him dying but coming back to life a second time are less than slim.
But they are here, and they will fight for him. They will do anything, everything, and whatever they can to make sure their lives are the best they’ve ever been. They will not come here to just spend time with their son before he dies. They are here to make sure this doesn’t happen, and we hope that someone else will be able to give them the answers they are looking for. Perhaps Xander can provide the answers. Meanwhile, we know Gabi and Kate are bonding more than ever, and then there is Stefan and Abe. Then there is the situation in which we can see things unfolding for Xander, and we are worried all the way around.

It turns out that Roman is about to share something with Kayla that will change her life forever. It’s the kind of devastating news that will rock her world and make it all seem like a waste. She just got her husband back, her son is still away, her adopted son, Tripp, is facing some serious life issues, and she’s got a lot on her plate. So, what might he tell her that will rock her world more than the many things that have already done so in the past? We know that it might be news that her husband is coming back, because we know he is. She doesn’t, but she will soon. However, we aren’t sure this is what it is that will come to her in her day.
Then there is Rex and Sarah. They are working harder than ever to ensure that they can save Will’s life. They are creating an antidote for him that might just make sure he lives, but they aren’t sure it will work. What if the notes they have are not right? What if they didn’t do something right? What if they do it all right and it still doesn’t work to make sure this young man lives his life the way he was meant to live it? What happens if there is nothing else they can focus on other than his future? What is their situation, and how can they change it? We just sit here and hope that it works, but we will find out sooner rather than later.
