Days of Our Lives fans are not surprised that Stefan and Vivian have more than a few little plans to break down the entire existence of the DiMera Family from the inside out. They are not going to take them down with one big plan. They are going to take them down with one small plan at a time until the entire family is miserable and unhappy and unsure of exactly what happened. And they plan on starting with Chad by hitting him where it hurts the most.
We all know that Chad and Abby had the worst year ever. She died, except she didn’t, he couldn’t raise his son by himself, she came back just as he was finding a way to move on, he was torn between two women, they were all almost kidnapped and killed, he was in a plane crash where he reunited with his ex, she married his new girlfriend’s brother who tried to kill them both and kidnap her in a drug cartel, and then their second (third?) wedding was interrupted by the man who tried to kill her before to announce that the man married to the one of the other men also getting married in a double wedding was not, in fact, dead.
So…is anyone really surprised the first thing Stefan and Viv plan on doing is breaking up this happy couple’s fragile new marriage? The overwhelming answer is no; no one is surprised. Will it work? We don’t know the answer.
