Days of Our Lives fans have known for some time now that Sonny has been manipulated by a man called Leo. This man has been working him like a game, and he’s been doing it for the big paycheck he’s getting for doing it. He wants to be sure that he’s getting all he wants and that he’s not needing to get his life back to what it was before, but he wasn’t expecting Sonny to catch on so quickly. He was not going to allow this to continue the way that it has, but it’s been a long time coming. Sonny has been falling for Leo since they went out the first time, and it’s not going to be a very easy realization.
He won’t like knowing that what is happening with hi is such bad news. He won’t like to realize that Paul was right, and we think he’s more upset about it because he’s going to realize it in the moment that Paul was right about it all along. And he doesn’t want Paul — happy Paul — to be right about anything that has to do with his love life. This is not good news for him, and he’s not sure how to go about fixing what’s wrong in his life at this point. Now he has to find out what to do next, and we wonder if that might involve mentioning to him that he’s aware what’s going on. We don’t think he will right away, but we could always be wrong.
Sonny has not found himself in a good place lately, and it’s mostly his own fault. He really messed up when he tried to force Will to try and work on a marriage he didn’t want to work on the past and when he left Paul at the altar. It’s been ugly, and he’s to blame for his own emotional problems, but finding out from Paul that things are not the way they are meant to be is the biggest problem of all for him. he’s struggling, and that’s a hard situation.
