Days of Our Lives fans know things will get a little bit more upsetting for JJ as the time passes, but for now he’s focused on what he will do with his life now that he’s had so many changes to go through. He’s been in a place where he has to focus on the things that mean to the most to him, and they might not always be what he feels are good changes. Right now he’s focused on getting into a new line of work. His career as a police officer is one he is leaving behind, and he has to find something else he can do to ensure his family is cared for.
After all, he believes he is having a baby with Lani. He’s slated to ask her to marry him so they can start their family and live happily ever after in the near future. He has no idea things are not what they seem, he is not the father, or that she cheated on him with her momentary ex. And he has no idea that his life is about to go from being on a high to being very low once again.
He’s going to be more than a little upset, and there seems to be nothing anyone can do for him. He’s in a bad place — again — and that’s just all there is to it. He has to figure out what he’s doing, and at least he has a little time to do that before his life is turned upside down again.
