Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Lani is in some serious trouble. She’s overdosed on drugs, and she’s in a bad place. We knew something like this would happen. She’s got so much on her plate right now, and trying to take down Snake was a mistake without her partner’s help. She needed him, and she didn’t ask him to do what she needed, so she ended up hurt. Now she’s in trouble, he’s trying to save her, and things are out of hand. Will she be in trouble at work for taking on a role like this one without tasking her partner to save her, or will everyone be so glad she recovers they forget about her mistakes?
We have to guess that no one is going to forget about this anytime in the near future. She made a huge mistake, and she’s going to pay for it as the days go on. Her cover was blown, her life and her partner’s life was put on the line, and she probably ruined their entire case against Snake with the evidence she’d already discovered before being realized. It’s not something she should have done, and it’s not something they can easily bounce back from.
Now that Lani has put the entire investigation in jeopardy, it’s only a matter of time before everyone learns the truth about Snake and her investigation. But will it be too late for her to realize what she’s done and how it’s affected everyone on the case, or will she be able to make it work? And will it have any bearing on the relationship she currently has with JJ? Will he no longer want to consider himself her friend, or might they both realize their feelings for one another are a bit more than just partners and friends? There’s so much more that can be said about them right now, but we need to wait and see how this all plays out in regards to her future and all the things that she’s put on the line with her decision regarding this matter of Snake.
