It’s a big moment on Days of Our Lives. Chad already broke the news that Abigail is dead to Ciara and to others, and they are all grieving. They didn’t know, and they are not entirely certain how they will get through this. However, Chad made a stunning announcement that will change the way that people will see him. He’s lost his wife, and he is giving up his son. It’s just too much for him to bother to fight Jennifer in the custody battle they are enduring, and he is going to let Jennifer take custody of Thomas because he thinks it is better for the boy. Jennifer is, of course, thrilled with this news despite the fact that she is heartbroken about Abigail.
Claire is devastated by what has been going on and all the tragedy that seems to surround her life right now. She is so heartbroken that she is able to find inspiration in that, and she’s begun to use her heartbreak as a way of working with Theo. Now they have shared a kiss, they wonder where there will go from here. Will they be able to continue a relationship with one another, or was this something that only happened the one time because they are both grieving all that has been happening as of late? We don’t know, but we are already rooting for these two to make it through their lives together.
Rafe and Roman have bigger problems of their own to deal with. Now that Aiden is the DA, he has the power to find out that Hope is the one who killed Stefano. If he finds this information out and he shares it with anyone, Hope will go down. Just when Rafe thought that things were going to work out for them, this happens and everything seems to fall apart for them in the worst way. Hopefully, he will not be able to find out, but we don’t know. Nicole is still not handling things well, and we are going to see a bit more of her previous life and the miscarriages she suffered. It’s been difficult for her, and we are going to take a stroll down memory lane with her.
